Todd Starnes Major General Harold Greene was assassinated yesterday in Afghanistan -- the highest ranking member of the American military killed in that war. He was gunned down by an Afghan soldier who opened fire on our people at a military training academy. It marks the first time since Vietnam that an Army general was killed in an overseas conflict. And yet - as of the writing of these words - President Obama has yet to eulogize this American hero. There have been no official statements. No comforting oratory. Just silence. President Obama had a moment to show leadership -- to show respect for the Armed Forces - to console General Greenes family - to tell the nation about the ultimate sacrifice made by this brave warrior -- to remind us that freedom comes with a price. A general is gunned down in cold blood and our commander in chief says nothing. Im at a loss for words.
