Ben Thanh market in Ho Chi Minh City Operational in 1914, the 100-year old market of Ben Thanh has become a symbol of Ho Chi Minh City. Nga Bay floating market in Hau Giang Nga Bay market, also known as Phung Hiep floating market in Nga Bay town, was operational in 1915 as a famous floating market in Hau Giang in particular, and the Mekong Delta region in general.
