Togo, Togo, Togo! Part 2 Some of you may remember that a couple of days ago I was informed via facebook of the death of an unknown close relation of mine living (well, actually more rather dying) in Togo. His solicitor kindly decided to present me as the next of kin of the deceased, and his only UNIVERSAL heir of the couple of bobs my relation left behind (US $ 10.5 million, basically pocket money). Having a kind and helpful personality, I could not refuse my co-operation to such a nice solicitor, who was not even looking for a percentage. Hence I replied (again via private message on FB as in these days in age email, snail-mail or any other form of communication is soooo yesterday) to send me the cash. This nice solicitor now writes to me again (guess how? Yes, you are right, via FB, of course) assuring me that everything is completely legal and actually common practice in Togo (ummm...., better move my diamond mines somewhere else, me think) and hence that I have no reasons of concern. However, this time he want 50% of the inheritance! I mean 50%??? Not even Enda would look for that much! I am going to start bargaining and offer 5% and see what happens. What do you think?
