Toilet training. Im sure this question has been asked before but I couldnt find it ------ My almost 3yr old son has been doing wees on the potty on and off for over 1yr now. I work 3 days a week and have been putting toilet training fully off. Im having my second child towards the end of the year and definitely want it sorted before then. I tried starting it yesterday, he made a few little accidents (wee) but generally would stop and then sit on the potty. But then he said poo mum and he had already done it, which turned me off. My question is, what worked for other mums? And Im guessing you just have to stick to it and expect some accidents along the way. Im also feeling a lot of pressure from family. They keep saying how they started it with their children a lot sooner (2yrs), what I keep reminding them is that they all were stay at home mums. I have 4 days a week off in a row so Im hoping this might be enough time to focus on it. Thank you for your advice.
