Tom Guild: Voters Have Clear Alternative Okla. City—While Republicans scramble to position themselves in the vacancy created by Rep. James Lankford’s decision to run for the United States Senate, Democrat Tom Guild said today that voters in Oklahoma’s Fifth Congressional District will have only one clear alternative when they go to the polls next November. “You can be assured that whoever wins the Republican primary and runoff will do so by trying to be the most subservient to the Republican Party’s extreme, right-wing tea-party elements,” Guild said. Guild, who announced his candidacy for the Fifth District seat one year ago, has been actively campaigning.
