Tom Wolf, a political scientist at the Public Affairs Department of IPSOS-Kenya, says one explanation for the overwhelming support received by President Uhuru and Deputy President Ruto during the last election, was “a deep-seated feeling on the part of the supporters of the Jubilee candidates that the response [to the] crisis in 2007-2008 was not fair.” Wolf suggests that Jubilee supporters felt it was unfair for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) - through the creation of Prime Minister, to be one of the main beneficiaries of the power-sharing agreement, yet “the people who were most powerful in the coalition were not held to account.”Are Kenyans aggrieved that the #ICC did not hold individuals in ODM to account?
