Tom went to the store this morning at 4:30 to open the store for all of the early birds who want their coffee... just like he does almost every single day of the week. When he arrived... he was welcomed with the fact that someone had stolen the Busch Welcome Hunters banner from the front of the store. Now it is not the cost of the sign that upsets me.. though all of the beer drinkers eventually pay the price, because it is the beer company that provides the signs and you know they pass along their expenses to all of us. It is the disrespect that hurts. We have worked so hard this fall to get ready for our first year as a tagging station and to make hunters and everyone feel welcome at the store that this disrespect feels like a slap in the face. We do have some camera footage so we may identify who did it.. and we may not, but it isnt easy to hide a 10 foot sign, so if you took it to show off... maybe you will be a little cautious. Friends of the page.. feel free to share... perhaps someone will see the sign and KNOW where they got it. Hunters... be safe.... and starting next week well have a breakfast special from 5 to 7 am so you can get out in the woods early with something in your stomachs! Any size cup of coffee, a breakfast sandwich and a hashbrown for $3.99.
