Tomorrow Dec 26 would have been my dear friend Bernie Prebynskis 60th birthday. I want to say a few words here about him to those who didnt know him. To those who had the pleasure of being his family and friends feel free to add something below. Bernard was passionate about his family, friends and sports. He opened a sports card/memorabelia shop in his home town as a side job. When that closed he bought the local public access TV station in Auburn IN. From that he would broadcast almost anything sports related around his area. From little league games to HS sports of all kinds to some college games. He also broadcast Sunday services for the shut-ins around Auburn. He was obsessed with Ohio and Indiana basketball and also the movie Hoosiers. He would take the kids teams that he coached down to the high school where the film was made. He interviewed two of the actors who played in that movie. Ive posted his interview with Brad Long who played Buddy, one of the Hickory basketball team. Thanks to the Prebynski family for sending this to me. Happy Birthday Bernard... not a day goes by that something crosses my mind and I say to myself that I need to call you about that.
