Tomorrow I bid on a horse trailer to convert to a Tiny house. There are many to bid and they are cheap. I am going buy one in 2-4 weeks to convert into a tiny house and move in there. This particular one is buried under tires at a tire and windshields. It was on sale for $1200. Double axles.16-19 long. 6 wide only. A front room. Feeding room in the middle. Back room for the horses. All steel welded frame. Thick metal walls. Thick floor for horses. Able to carry lots of weight. All kinds of doors and storage. All steel heavy duty welded. Rounded top. 7 tall inside. Fancy windows. Double dutch doors for rear. My bedroom would be in the back. Kitchen in the middle. Bathroom and shower in front room. It would be at least 20 sq. ft. larger than my current vintage trailer. I will have to hire an electrician to wire it. Then go through DMV. How much should I expect to have 2= 30 amp and 4-20 amp outlet run into a breaker box and a 25 cord to the box? It has a living quarters-is it legal to live in it? How do I handle the DMV? all the plumbing, furniture, HVAC in my current trailer is portable. I can complete the inside in a day to make it a house.then finish it as sweet as I want. Goal is to Power it and move in. Im almost tempted to remove my current wiring and put that in. Thanks for any advice with DMV.
