Tomorrow I return to work for the first time since October 14th..what a journey this has been. I want to give a huge thank you to many folks who made this so much easier. Jay, Sandy, Sandy Bailey, Deb Neal, Connie Dexter and Mrs. Radcliffe for supporting me in the emergency room. My brother Jay and sister-in-law Sandy for their incredible hospitality and care. My nephew Casey for his company. Trish Blevins and Phil Blevins, Carl Hafer, the late Cliff Henry for the taxi service to docs and therapy. Shelley Hope, Victoria Scarborough, Becky Ferguson, Joni Baldwin, Ann Mattingly Gottschlich, Julie Raiff for lunch and event dates! Pam Loudin Scheuermann, Jean Wheeler, Millie Henninger, Izzy Adhari, Susie Betts for wonderful food. Aunt Jan for sending me reading material and a book stand. My cousin Pat for sewing me custom PJs. My cousin Pam for lunch and a haircut! Billie Nelson for taxi service, shopping trip and dinners. Sandy Bailey for numerous rides to the doc, therapy and shopping. Deb Neal who literally came to my house every morning on the way to work and helped me get dressed, picked me up from therapy, kept me sane with running about! Marty Neal for putting up with me at his house every evening! All my family, the Gorman and ECIP staff for the cards and prayers. My therapist Amanda at SW Ohio Orthopedics for the emotional and physical support. Mrs. Radcliffe for taking care of the workers comp issues. Last but not least, A HUGE thanks to Dr. Shelly Powell, an incredible surgeon who was also incredibly supportive.... she put humpty back together again! I pray that none of you ever have a similar experience but if you do I hope that you are blessed with support like I have had.
