Tomorrow, I say goodbye to Sochi, Russia. My almost year long - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow, I say goodbye to Sochi, Russia. My almost year long adventure of working on the Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games will come to a close. Theres so many Thank Yous to list I figure I would start them now: Thank you Sochi for being a wonderful host to me during the planning stages and during the Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games. Thank You for teaching me the fine art of patience. Thank You for providing me with an outstanding Sport Production Transport staff, volunteers and co-workers. Thank You for again teaching me the fine art of patience. :-) Thank You for the opportunity to work with so many friends in the sports industry again. Thank You for not having too many competition delays due to weather. Thank You for not too many doping situations. Thank You for helping me understand that a solid white line in the road costs one 4,000 rubles in fines. Thank You for showing me how in 4 minutes one can ticket, seal and tow away ones car (and cost one 5,000 rubles in fines). Thank You for my new found love of the soup borscht. Thank You for everyone working hard that allowed us to get all Gold, Silver and Bronze medaling athletes on-time, on-stage 100% of the time for both the Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games. Thank You to my friends at both the IOC & IPC for your support. Thank You for the 4.5 kilos of weight I lost while working here. Thank You for the laughs, tears and lost brain cells from lack of sleep. Thank You to Christy for bringing along on the adventures here. Thank You to Rocky & Karla for being my shrinks while in town. Thank You to the Sport Production Team for not getting into too many vehicle accidents. Thank You to Misty, Kim, Mike and Shari for taking good care of Momma & Boy. Thank You to all who listened to my rants. Thank you to Julia for being my Cliff Notes. Thank You to Maria for coordinating all of my payments. Thank You to all of the athletes who reminded me that my philosophy of Athletes First is still the right way to manage an Olympic & Paralympic Games. And last but not least, Thank You to my parents for always being there to support me on pursuing my dreams of working on an Olympic & Paralympic Games. Спасибо. Любовь для всех!
