Tomorrow, I will make sports history along side 20 other USA Triathlon junior elite and collegiate women triathletes in the first NCAA Womens Triathlon Championship. Big Thank-You goes out to my dad, James Jay Ridgeway, and best friend, Christina Mackey, for driving me down to Florida from Columbia, MO/St. Louis, MO and cheering me on tomorrow! Thanks to my mom, Wendy Wall, for feeding me daily and providing for me financially leading up to the race. Shout out to ALL my triathlon and running teammates including Mizzou Triathlon, CMC, PacWest Athletes, and Ultramax for training and racing with me this year which lead me up to this huge event. Special recognition goes out to two volunteer mentors of mine. First is my Athletic Trainer, Dawn Belmore, for dealing with all my clumsy injuries this year, healing me with her love and magic, and also for always believing in me. Next is my volunteer Strength Coach, Akeem Robinson, as a student athlete and a Christian, I have changed my perspective and mindset throws life in general because of this man. Thats something I will never be able repay you for, and I am grateful everyday that you reached out and took a chance on me. Thanks to all my family and friends, FCA family, coworkers, and classmates. I had hundreds of people reach out to me over the past 5 weeks, which I am truly blown away by! I am honored and humbled by the opportunity God has given me. Once again thank-you everyone for your support, encouragement, and for believing in me. Tomorrow, I race for an audience of one. God is always good! MIZ-TRI
