Tomorrow, September 16th marks the birth of a legend. There are some who will not know this legend, but so many do. This legend touch the souls of so many. Stories were not written of this legend, but her stories are repeated by others. This legend was not rich, but left a rich legacy to her children. This legends family history is rich with the culturals of Native American, African, and European. This legends family help build the Lincoln Tunnel in New York City. Her family was forced to live on reservations then relocated from the Midwest to reservations in Pennsylvania, notably Carlise where they attended the Indian School there. Some family members were runaway slaves looking for a better life. In all this legends family is rich in history. Her family members fought in every war and battle pertaining to the U.S. since the Indian Wars to the present. You ask, who is this legend?
