Tomorrow at 2pm Bree will be admitted to floor 9 to begin her journey to kick AML forever to the curb. Tomorrow will be called day -8 in this process. Bree started on Keppra tonight. This is an anti-seizure med. The Chemotherapy that Bree will be getting tomorrow at 8pm is called Busulfan. She will continue to get that every 6 hours for 5 days. Please Pray for Bree and for us. Bree does not want to go back to the hospital, but she knows that she has to. I spent the day tearing apart Brees Lego sets and soaking them in bleach water and then laying them on paper towel to dry. Then I put each set individually into Ziploc bags and then into small plastic containers that seal shut. I sanitized all of Brees clothes and sheets and her special blanket and Brown puppy. Then dried them on high heat. Then put them in to huge ziploc bags and sealed them shut. We are going to bring as little as possible into her hospital room. We are so thankful to our church family for providing us with delicious meals the entire week we were at home. We have enjoyed every second. Bree has been very happy and very healthy. She has been sleeping great and eating up a storm. Today it was strawberries and brownies and spaghetti. What our family needs most right now is prayer. If you want to give a gift to Bree or our family, please do not send it to the hospital. We will not be bringing mail into her room. Please send anything to our home. Chris or I is always with Bree at the hospital and we switch out daily so that we can spend time with Madison as well. Bree is only allowed 5 visitors during this transplant round. Those people are myself, Chris, my sister Molly, my mother and father in law Mary and Bob. Please pray for our health during this time. If any of us get sick, we wont be able to be with Bree.
