Tomorrow, if all goes as planned, humans will land a probe on a comet for the first time in history. This summer a spacecraft called Rosetta pulled up alongside the comet, 67P. Rosetta will release a craft called Philae to land on comet 67P to perform scientific measurements that could teach us about the evolution of our solar system. This plan is utterly amazing and mind-blowing to me, but I like the one outlined in the movie Armageddon better.
