Tomorrow is Gordon Quick and Is 10th wedding anniversary... We have been through a lot of shit through the years but yet were still standing. Weve been told some people didnt think wed make it this far... guess weve proven them wrong. Friday 24th September 2004 at 3:45pm - the time when our lives changed forever. My dad, John Barr Thomson made me so proud in his highland-wear, looking incredibly smart as he walked me down the aisle to my waiting hubby-to-be. My mum was my absolute rock... helping with all of the plans for the big day, helping me to get ready, being there to talk to, being an amazing friend. It was a day where many wonderful memories were made. The day that Mr Gordon Quick and Miss Laura Jane Thomson became husband and wife, Mr & Mrs Quick, a married couple. A day shared with many wonderful people who are no longer with us. RIP Christine Thomson. RIP Sandra Quick. RIP Alan Harper. The day a very close family friend spoke the words its the most beautiful wedding I have been too and left many of us an emotional wreck for reasons that I wont go into now - rest in peace Alan, forever in our hearts. The day we were made very proud of Martin Thomas as our best man, Nicola Thomson our flower girl, Callum Thomson our page boy and Yvonne Frame our bridesmaid. Thank you all. Ten years down, how many to go? lol... I could have murdered someone and been free by now lol... only joking Gord, love you really
