Tomorrow is Labor Day. A holiday many in this country have forgotten its meaning or never knew it to begin with. It is a day to honor the UNIONS and all they have done for this country. Before you haters start bad mouthing unions, answer these questions. .. 1.Do you like your 40 hour week? Thank the unions. 2. Do you like making a living wage? Thank a union 3. Do you like your paid vacations and holidays? Thank a union 4. Do you like a safe work environment? To go home in one piece and alive? Thank a union 5. Should you get sick or injured, Do you like your FMLA? your job security? And yes, even workmans comp? Thank a union. 6. Women, do you like your maternity leave? Thank a union 6b. And equal pay? In a union that is guaranteed. These are but a few. So before you start yelling about us greedy unions, think what your life would be like without them and ALL they have done FOR this country!
