Tomorrow is a VERY BIG DAY for Sirius Volunteers and those who were touched by Fendis story. Tomorrow is when Fendi will finally get her operation!!! It is very costly and chances of Fendi to use her legs again are next to nothing BUT if you ever met Fendi youd agree that she is worth the effort :) THANK YOU all for supporting Fendi, for Attending our Charity Concert that helped raise money for Fendi and for ALL of you personal and generous donations!! Without your support she had no chance at all. A big Thank You to Dr. Constantinos Andreou and VetCure Veterinary Clinic who is opening his surgery for us on a Sunday and Dr. Spyrou the neurologist who are both offering us their knowledge and expertise. For those not familiar with Fendis story here is a short summary: Several months back a Sirius volunteer came across Fendis case, a disabled 1 year old who had been a victim of a hit and run and whose owner did not seek the necessary medical attention she needed. The owner was advised to euthanize her but we wanted to give her a chance so we took responsibility for Fendis expenses and found a foster home. So far Sirius has paid for her MRI, numerous vet consultations, x-rays and purchased a wheelchair. Receipts can be seen in this album. Tomorrows expenses are approximated close to €1000!!! There are only 3 days left on Fendis fundraiser if you want to make a donation. youcaring/medical-fundraiser/she-has-the-will-to-walk-can-we-help-her-do-it-/138467
