Tomorrow is a big day at NOBTS with the Challenges to Religious Liberty conference. Faculty, students, and any interested area ministers or laypersons are welcome to attend this free event. Chapel and Lunch -- Russell Moore, President of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC, will be speaking in Chapel at 11 AM CST, followed by a lunch event with Dr. Moore answering questions from students and area ministers. Evening event (7-9 PM) * Dr. Moore is speaking on “Challenges to the Church.” * Mathew Staver, chairman of Liberty Counsel and Dean of Liberty University’s School of Law will examine “Challenges in Counseling.” * Carol Swain, professor of law and political science at Vanderbilt University, who helped lead the fight against the universitys policy that discriminated against Christian groups, will consider “Challenges in Education.” Again, all area ministers and laypersons, as well as faculty, students, and staff, are welcome to attend this free event.
