Tomorrow is the Day of Mourning for workers who were killed on the job. I attend every year and again the local Labour Centre will be holding this event at Fordview Park at 5pm. Here is a list of Day of Mourning events across the South Central Ontario Region. Workers still die in this province, are injured, and they and their families often treated poorly by the various systems at play including the legal system, insurance systems, WSIB etc. Tomorrow is a solemn day but an important one as these issues still exist in a country where they shouldnt.
