Tomorrow marks the turning point in my life when dreams and reality collided and at 20 I was faced with with the truth....Kennedy was dead and with him went the hope and promise of all our young lives.. Medgar had caught the bullet Four little girls the bomb and in South Vietnam the Diem brothers and I was didnt feel like I was going to see the 60s out and I really did as Morgans character the old con said..Get busy living or get busy dying. A year later i was focusing on Lyndon Johnson and a career and a year later Lyndon was focusing on me and his war...I went from being a idealist college kid to a man on a mission to live quick before I ended in a hail of bullets. November 22, 1963 is burned in my memory every moment like no other because it was no day in life like any other in history....John F. Kennedy didnt just die in Dallas that day we all died a little bit that day forever and our lives would never ever be the same again.
