Tomorrow morning, more than 500 cyclists from BRAN (Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska) will be riding through our area, making stops in Giltner and Doniphan on their way across the state. In Giltner at the community center, Jaida Eastman will be selling PB&J sandwiches, trail mix and bottled water to the cyclists to benefit the Oklahoma Tornado Relief Fund, and in Doniphan, members of the Doniphan Economic Development Corporation will be serving up a lunch of hot dogs, chips and cookies to the cyclists with proceeds going to the Doniphan Area Event Center. The riders are expected to arrive between 10:30 a.m. and noon. Drive safe tomorrow, and let’s give these cyclists a warm welcome to our communities!
