Tomorrow my sisters, brother and I lay my father to rest. He was - TopicsExpress

Tomorrow my sisters, brother and I lay my father to rest. He was and still is a great man. He along with my beautiful mother made us what we are. I am thankful and so grateful to have been blessed with the best parents anyone could ever have. I weep and mourn over them and shall always miss them. I have comfort though through our Lord knowing I will see them again someday. My mother and father are dancing and rejoicing in heaven, which warms my heart. They have been waiting 22 long years for this reunion. I have wrote a special poem that I will read at the funeral services in honor of my Dad. He deserves the best and as his daughter I pray that this day, this sad day that he will be honored in the very best fashion. I am sharing the poem with you all on here just in case you can not be there and loved my Dad too for who he was. I will love and miss you Dad always. Help give me strength tomorrow to read this poem in your honor. Until we meet again and celebrate together in Gods glorious heaven my spirit and heart will remain connected to you and Mom forever. RIP, I love you always Dad. This is for you: To my Dad There is no way I can thank you enough for the great father you have been. Not enough paper to list all that you have done, I do not know where to begin. Unconditional love is what you gave our mother. Your hearts and souls intertwined, connected like no other. Never would you re-marry. Carried to the grave your love was true. You said your children and grand children were enough to carry you through. You taught us how to be brave and strong. To stand up for what we believe in and never do any wrong. To always be respectful. For all that we have, to show great appreciation. So many things you taught us, our lives were built on a great foundation. With your undying love and guidance we now have the wisdom. Grateful for all you have done, thankful for what we have become. Life will never be the same without you. Your work here on earth is done. Give Mom a kiss from us, rejoice with Jesus, now your new life has just begun. Dad, please watch over us from your new mansion where you reside. In our hearts always, we will soon celebrate again on the other side. You will always be missed. Love you forever, Darlene, Joanne, Brenda, Steven
