Tomorrow the 10th, Rick and I both have doctor appointments. In the AM Rick will have a glucose monitor attached to him and will wear it 24 hours a day until Monday when he goes back to have it removed and read. Rick is having a problem with keeping his sugar count down however, he has been walking three times a day at least two miles per walk. I am so proud of him!! He is trying so hard to get the sugar down. Even at dinner this evening he ordered a salad instead of French fries or cole slaw, what a guy!! My doctor appointment is at noon and almost the same for me, my doctor is trying to help me get my sugar down. This is just a 30 day check up for me. Hope we get good reports. Carb counting is HARD and taking shots 5 times a day is not fun either, so take it from me....take care of yourself and always live a healthy life style and be aware. As for today, we have had an awesome day. My daughter called and asked me to breakfast, so we joined Rick at his breakfast spot and had a grand time. Rick took me riding in his red truck and we cruised around in Muncie and Delaware County with no AC in the truck. I think we perspired a lot of calories out of our bodies. Good day today!!
