Tomorrow the Corps of Cadets will play a big role in the Texas Governors Inauguration. The Ross Volunteers - the Honor Guard for the Governor of Texas - will form the traditional Saber Arch for the Inauguration Ceremony at 11 am on the steps of the Capitol. The Aggie Band, Ross Volunteers, and Parsons Mounted Cavalry will then participate in the Inaugural Parade down Congress Avenue at 2 pm. Finally, the Ross Volunteers will form the Saber Arch for the Governor and his family at the Inaugural Ball tomorrow night at 9:30 pm. Its going to be a long, event filled day for all of our cadets, but what a wonderful way to showcase our Corps of Cadets in our State Capitol! This will no doubt be a memory for all of them that they will never forget! Best wishes to all of our cadets for a safe, exciting day as they represent Texas A&M and the Corps of Cadets in the Inauguration of the new Governor of the Great State of Texas!! Gig em!!
