Tomorrow will be my first Parkour training after a whole month of resting... I realized that injury is actually NOT the ennemy of the athlete. It points out the disharmony that can happen between the mind and the body when we over-use the body and do not listen to it. The body is not just a tool or a thing. Taking such a long rest was very beneficial for me as I tried to create a deeper connection with my body and also to appreciate and be grateful to the simple but precious ability to move. Something, that in todays society, we tend to overlook and even forget. Also, it was a good opportunity for me to define my goals and priorities: since i am not Wonder Women, I have to focus on what I seek the most and efficiently use the 24hours that are offered to me. That is the only way to improve, become better while enabling the mind and the body to switch off and relax. So, the key word here is HARMONY. That is what all of us should try to achieve :)
