Tonight Anthony continues to fight. His infection is still very serious. Anthonys Drs. told us from the beginning that the meds they were giving him, to fight this fungus in his lungs, can do just as much damage as they do good, and after giving him these for some time, they were not helping, so Drs took him off. He has developed a pressure wound on the back of his head, and one the left side of his ear due to leaning on one side of his head. This is the last thing he needs but I know this kind of thing can and will be an ongoing issue. He really dont need this problem after everything else hes dealing with, but I have faith God is doing his finest work through my beautiful nephew. Anthony was very spiritual young man. We had some silly conversations about faith and some about the saints we pray to and I gave him a St Christopher guardian angel medallion one year for Christmas for his vehicle. I wish he had it on him when he was on the mtr cycle. Anthony continues to run fever due to infection, and he is still unaware of his surroundings and whats going on. I feel this is a blessing. He had surgery this morning to do more cleaning, graphing & closing some of his hip / pelvic area making some progress in the wound department. His right arm has been closed up for about a week now and seems to be healing pretty good. He will have to endure many graph surgeries to close his Hip / Pelvic area . Drs also put a feeding tube port back in his nose for feeding during surgery. This kid is amazing to be hanging on like he is. I dont know how much a person body can take? He is a fighter! I want to thank everyone who has prayed, spoke such loving kind words of comfort to our family, and donated to help us help anthony. He is such a cute, happy, little boy. I had to smother him with kisses, I couldnt hslp myself.. Yup Im one of those annoying squeeze your cheeks aunts. MUAH! BELLA, BELLA
