Tonight, I decided to change up the juicing regimen I have stuck with for a while. I try to juice atleast once everyday, if not that once every other day. The routine of juicing I had stuck with was a 3 to 1 ratio of 3 veggies per 1 fruit. The fruit usually consisting of an orange or apple and the veggies either carrots, celery, kale, spinach, or tomatoes. Decided to change it up: 1 handful wheatgrass, 1 handful kale, 1 lemon, 1/2 ginger, and 1 kiwi. The taste turned out to be a zesty taste due to the ginger/lemon. Because of the constant inflammation in my body and lungs, the kale, ginger, and lemon combo cut down on it greatly. The inflammation goes down considerably and the pain due to inflammation settles as well. Highlighted juicing agent: Wheatgrass Wheatgrass is a chlorophyll and is in the wheat family. It is dense in nutrients like iron, amino acids, calcium, magnesium, chlorophyll and vitamins A, C and E. Can be an effective antimicrobial agent against skin diseases, inflammation, and ulcers creating a healthy bacterial intestinal environment.
