Tonight, I get to play football. On my way to the fields, I drive out towards this beautiful sunset. I get to the fields early and got to thinking: I have wonderful friends. I have an amazing family. I have a nice job. I have decent enough health. I have my freedoms. All of these things, unfortunately, I often take for granted. Much like, I take my United States Military personnel. The men and women who have fought, are fighting and will eventually go into battle...not only do I owe you a tremendous amount of gratitude...But I also owe you the respect you have earned. No matter your rank, no matter your role and no matter ever having to go to battle. I THANK YOU! Your work, efforts and sacrifice have enabled me to enjoy all I have and do with my life. Also, I APOLOGIZE... I apologize for needing a National Day of Recognition to think about what it is that you all do for me and this great nation, every day! God Bless
