Tonight I got stuck in line at the grocery store, but I was not at all frustrated. I use these interludes to look around and be in the moment, looking for things to write about or to share on FB. I saw a couple one line over, who were involved in something that looked like a rapturous kiss that was about to happen. The unusually beautiful young woman had her face turned up to the tall, slender man who was gazing down at her adoringly. It was then I noticed she had a moustache tattooed on her upper lip. This definitely caught my attention. He had his left hand on the back of her head, and was holding her head very still, and smiling back at her...and in his right hand he held a black sharpie marker, and was adding details to her face with it. In addition to the moustache, he made eyebrows, and around her right eye, a monocle. I was totally captivated by this, and when the line began to move, she looked over at me and smiled as if to say I just love him. We totally accept each other. I looked at him and caught the front of his vest, which had huge jewels sewn on by hand, as if he collected them one at a time, and she added them. I wanted to say something to her, but we only exchanged glances and I thought to myself, Your face looks awesome right now, with love on it, in it, and all around it.
