Tonight I had a call from a nursery in Chatham, they had 4 kittens and a small thin but heavily pregnant mum in their play area behind the building. The kids werent allowed as to not scare away the cats. I managed to catch 3 of the kittens - quite a feisty lot and not afraid to bite! Sadly by trying to help, the lady scared the 4th kitten off in the wrong direction and it scampered off into the wilderness, I dont think it will come back tonight :( I managed to trap mum, just before the nursery closed. Luckily Happy Endings Rescue were able to take the family in, so I drove them over to Faversham. They have over 70 cats in need of homes themselves, and Terry told me that just last week he brough in 17 more that were dumped at a vet to be euthanised! Its a cruel world out there :( If you are thinking of giving another cat a home, please keep HAPPY ENDINGS RESCUE and of course Anim-Mates in mind. Nothing is more rewarding than offering an onwanted unloved rescue cat a home
