Tonight I saw a post in a group Im part of called Online Yardsales, Sacramento, CA. It read: This may sound really dumb! But my son lost his teddy bear! He always has this bear. We are so devastated. Its the one with the music and plays the womb noises. We went to look for another but they do not look the same. My son misses his bear. If you have one the same I will buy it off you. Please help!!!! I am literally crying seeing him so sad and cry. You can just imagine how us Moms connected with this story and it was amazing watching a group of women come together to find this bear! The Mom mentioned how the new ones in the stores have different fur and her son would know it wasnt his. A sweet woman named Erin McKay came forward saying her son had this same bear and the Mom was overjoyed saying, Erin that is him!!!! Same blue eyes. I forgot what the tag says because he rubbed all the ink off the tag. I just want to hug this bear. Please let me know if you would like to sell it and how much. Even if I find it, I may need a back up. But this is him!!! To the delight of everyone following the post, the woman said she could have it and shed leave him on the porch so he could have it tonight. One woman suggested that if he noticed the switcheroo she could say the old bear had to go back home but his brother will come and take care of him and suggested that maybe he can also write him letters from time to time. Another said if he notices a difference just say Erin the Angel gave him a bath and made him all nice again... I wish I could share the whole string because it was so heartwarming and sincere. Its hands down my favorite post on that site ever.
