Tonight, I see with my own eyes how truly the words protect and serve mean as officers proudly wear this badge and barge towards my house in now days society. Now, dont get me wrong and before I offend anyone. It is not to offend you but to inform you of some officers who work around us doing in what in their eyes see that is the correct way to handle a situation / respond to a call. Also, dont get me wrong I am not an officer or have had any of their training or experience so I might not know if this is really how they do things but sure did not seem right. My father and I were watching replays of fútbol games at home after I came from practice, my father steps out of the house to throw away a dinner box from pizza hut in our trash cans that are in our backyard. We both see a spot light lighting towards our front door. At this time, my father was out the door on our porch walking towards the trash can. Trash cans is 10-15yards away from front door and property line to the front door is about 8-10 yards. He got asked with a strong tone of voice what was our address. Going off topic, EVERYONE should inform ALL family members their rights. PLEASE DO SO. These officers of the law almost took full advantage of it until I kept saying what my rights where as they kept violating one after another. So where were we.. After my father got asked what his address was he then was told to walk towards them, holding a pizza hut dinner box, while they had their guns out. I followed few steps behind since I saw that they had already stepped into private property. our property, and wanted to ask wtf where they enforcing and reason of their unexpected visit. So as I slowly approached them yet kept my distance, with them acknowledging my presence the whole way out of the house, I stopped near to where they were questioning my father and asked why where they in private property without autorization and with arms / guns out. One of 4 officers pointed his gun at me and told me to put my hands over my head, turn around, and onto my knees. I got detained, searched and sat on my driveway floor. Had 2 officers yelling - I was being detained for not cooperating - in which at this time none of my questions were still being left un answered. I was still not told why they were at my house disturbing the peace. Once I heard all their bullshit they were trying to feed to me, I finally got told that SOMEONE anynomously called and they dispatched to a fight incident with my address as the location accordingly with our description - older male and younger male - no other description. The officer who detained me began to ask questions about if there was a fight in our house or if I was involved in a fight. I told him I cooperated by allowing him to detain me with no probable cause. Once again a second officer came over to me and said the same and why wasnt I cooperating. The first officer left me with the second officer and went towards my house door and began to look inside and opened the door. I ignored the second officer trying to interrogate me, and spoke out loud you can not go inside private property without a warrant sir. The first officer stopped and waited to see if hed see anything. I then turned back to the officer that was near me and repeated myself. He then explained that the driveway does not have a gate therefore they can enter. Dont know how true that is....... but, I stopped him there before I call BS on officer Jeff Hoover from Glendale Police Department. I told him as a Glendale resident, Glendale does not allow gates in front of their residents property in which starts over where your other two officers are standing, outside dividing the two lines of properties. I know this because our request to fence our property at the divided line was denied by the city of Glendale. He did not say anything after I said this to him. My attention went again to the officer in front of my house door, unfortunately with my mothers curiosity, she came to the door cooperated with the officer, called my sister out and both came outside. Even almost gave authority for the officer to come in to search the house (smh). I put a stop to it and he did not enter. I again expressed all my rights they have violated to officer Jeff Hoover and Ryan Sandlen from Glendale Police Department and was still being told why wasnt I cooperating in which a third officer came and told the second officer, Jeff Hoover from GPD that the fn incident is actually accross the street. If you know when people have to lie out their asses in situations in front of you... Yeah, you should have seen this officers face. They then took the cuffs off me, sorta apologized and began to walk over to where the incident was at. I told him I was not done with them I needed each and all of there names and badge numbers. Officer Jeff Hoover from GPD said hell have to attend to the incident first then I can ask my questions. I then told him theres three officers at the scene already and two suspects you can stay to answer my questions. He then gave me this look and walked away to the front of my property and noticed it was already taken care of and came back to respond to me. The officer was getting frustrated as the interagation went to him and said he wasnt able to answer any more questions and said with what he gave me I was able to look up the report that was reported.. Anyone have thoughts and opinions on how to go about this? I am going to report this incident tomorrow
