Tonight I survived a threatened assault in my face by fist and grabbing of my shoulder by the owner of best billiards LV. He refused to give me back the $800 ball cleaner that I lent him, citing all the help he has given me the past 3 years, and how he was angry that I posted on facebook here about my friend opening a small tournament pool room across the intersection, with no Ill words or will towards best billiards. Im not the official house pro at best, not sponsored anymore, and I pay for everything except for table time when I practice. He also threatened harm to that same friend of mine who opened Pay Or Play Tournaments, with a punch a year ago. So I called the police and the owner of best billiards LV lied to them saying that I sold him the ball cleaner 6 months ago for $100 and could have it back for $600, and the girl there who witnessed it all lied, saying that she had just arrived and had seen nothing. Im sure it was all on camera but that would require a long drawn out legal battle to try and acquire it. I just wanted my ball cleaner back and be done with what was a good chapter in life, perhaps with a bad ending. Needless to say I wont be going back there. He was telling customers he plans to close soon anyway. Pay Or Play is non smoking and a great little spot. Not sure how long Ill stay in Las Vegas but for now Im happy to promote a positive place where people can feel safe and play a beautiful game! There are other great places to play in vegas with great people, I do love the non smoking rule Ill admit. Clean air helps keep the game clean. ;)
