Tonight I was able to step out to dinner and celebrate a new upgraded ;) completely full time position at my STARBASE job! As I bask in my thankfulness for my position and the great organization it is, I also remember the road Ive traveled to this day. Just a few years ago I was scrambling to not be homeless, and I was blessed by a fabulous realtor team and mortgage lender that found us a home. Then was blessed by a church family and so many friends that moved my entire house as my daughter fought for her life in the hospital. And continued to fight in our new home. We came home and our family trecked continuously uphill. We were blessed with caregivers for my daughter so that I could obtain my college degree. In the meanwhile I met this fantastic man that mended my broken heart into one that could beat stronger than it ever had before. And today I feel blessed by so many who have encouraged, helped, and a God who lifted us along a rocky road. Tonight I feel blessed :). 🎶Tell your heart to beat again. Close your eyes and breathe it in. Let the shadows fall away. Step into the light of grace. Yesterday’s a closing door. And you don’t live there anymore. So say goodbye to where you’ve been. And tell your heart to beat again!
