Tonight I went to watch American Sniper.... Everything I seen...... Made me think of a Marine who I am close to. Insights of the his experiences while in Iraq. I am quite certain that Im one of few who knows as much as I do. But seeing this movie like I always say... Our veterans need some much more. My next goal like I always said... How do we get the profession of nursing to become more involved in the care of our veterans? That is my next baby.. My next goal. Always to honor my father as well as those who are close to my heart. I know they have endured a lot. I know I am told a sheltered version of all their experiences. This is my next area... When my job is finished with childrens health and school health.... This is where I plan to make an impact. truthfully I am blessed to know such an individual. Especially at a time in my life when I felt I couldnt trust anyone or look to anyone to help me. With just one call he was there. To help me get out of a place he knew was not safe for me anymore. In a few hours I took my important possessions, clothes and left. But he was there. He has shown me that he is true, always to his word. I am truly grateful.
