Tonight I will sleep! I will it so. I will not wake with what will happen or what if or why didnt i... I will sleep!... Without fear of the dream that I wake up somewhere i miss so much but know I dont belong... Or worse the dream I have had since I was 16. The dream that still shakes me awake at least a couple times a year... Its less frequent now but still clearly a message I need to understand. I will sleep! Without the aid of whiskey to dull my senses enough to peacefully sedate me. Or without the therapy of writing until Im so tired I cant read my own words. Or drawing things that in the light of day seem like hieroglyphs without a template. I will sleep! Mostly because I so desperately need to.. But also because Ive come to a place of peace today. Peace that I have lived and will continue to live the best that I can. That I have amazing people around me that I have given my all to and that give their all in return. And knowing that as rough as today was. If tomorrow was exactly the same I would rise to the challenge again. Good night all! Going radio dark until further notice. Sweet dreams!
