Tonight, TV3 News showed a news item about David Wagner Holdings, the company we rent our premises off of. National MP Nicky Wagner co-owns this company. We want to make it absolutely clear that The National School of Aesthetics, its owners, its directors, and its staff members do not publicly endorse any political party. As a tertiary education organisation, our role is to remain impartial politically, and we did not approve, endorse, and/or give permission to TV3 or any other news organisation to film us or our premises, or allow them to imply we support any political party or person in any way, shape or form. They did this without asking our permission or telling us what they were filming, even when they saw us looking out the windows at them, and they made no attempt to disguise the identities of those looking at them or the company renting the building. We have laid a formal complaint with TV3 over this matter as we feel it has breached various laws and regulations. Thank you for your understanding and we appreciate your support.
