Tonight (Thursday) - Elmet and Rothwell Constituency Labour Party Quiz Night Tonight (Thursday 4 December), its the Elmet and Rothwell CLP Christmas Quiz Night. As you may know, East Leeds is one of the constituencies twinned with the key marginal seat of Elmet and Rothwell where an energetic campaign is underway to get Veronica King elected as the Labour MP for Elmet and Rothwell in place of current Conservative MP, Alec Shelbrooke. Ill be going along and all East Leeds Labour Party members are welcome to come too. We can enter as an East Leeds team or - if there are enough of us to be me more than one team - an East Leeds A, B and C team (with each team having equal status of course!). The event starts at 7.30pm at Swillington Miners Welfare Club (LS26 8DT), tickets are £7 (£5 concessions) and a pie and pea supper is concluded. The Quiz Master is Karl Curry.
