Tonight, Tuesday, November 12, 2013, beginning at 6 p.m. at Buffalo Creek Middle School you have an opportunity to provide your input at the next community forum. This is your opportunity to provide input into the budget and strategic planning process of the School Board. It is important that teachers and paraprofessionals provide information during this process. You know what the priorities should be because you live with the students in the schools every day. There are two ways to provide information: participate in one of the sessions listed below or click on the link below and answer the survey on-line. Parents, teachers, paras, community members and students have an opportunity to influence the direction of our district over the next five years, so please participate and encourage others to do so too. The Manatee County Schools’ Citizens’ Advisory Committee would like to invite you to have supper with us and help develop our plans for the future. WHAT ARE WE DOING? • Short overview of the budgeting and planning process • Survey to determine community priorities • Explanation of what we will do with the information you provide • Staff members will be on site to assist with homework, tutoring, and educational activities for kids of ALL ages • Supper!!!
