Tonight at around 10.10PM on London road at the greystone road junction and traffic lights in Carlisle by the little ASDA our beautiful 5 month Cocker Spaniel Puppy Georgie was mowed down by a car that failed to stop & dragged him at least 30feet down the road until our beautiful baby boy was spat out of the back of thier car. They didnt even brake & I assume were goinf faster than the 30 mile speed limit. A lovely caring gentleman whos full name I ddo not know very kindly pulled over on his way home from work and took me to Dalston Vets. He was pronounced dead when we got there as he had no pulse, his eyes were glazed over and was bleeding from his mouth and his tounge was hanging out of his mouth. I never caught the registration of the car that hit him as I ran to the place he was left lying in the main road. All I know is that the car was a small either Toyota Yaris or Aygo and was dark in colour possibly brown, black or purple. Im appealing to everybody out there to share this so that we can get in touch with the driver as we dont know what damage has been done to thier car and it is now a police matter. We have had to leave Georgie at the vets in Dalston as we have no garden to bury him at home and he will be cremated in the next couple of days. Georgie will be sorely missed as he was our baby and a massive part of our family. Please help us help Georgie rest in peace and get justice for our beautiful puppy. Rest in peace my Dark Prince.
