Tonight, for the first time ever, four Auckland City icons will be lit up in rainbow colours in the build up to the Auckland Pride Parade this Saturday. The Auckland SKYTOWER, Auckland War Memorial MUSUEM, the gantry at SILO PARK and THE CLOUD will be awash in colour at 9pm when Tamati Coffey and key Auckland dignitaries hit the switch. Tamati Coffey will be joined on the Auckland War Memorial Museum steps by 20 year old, fa’afafine performer Jaycee Tanuvasa, singer/songwriter Ramon Te Wake, as well as MP Louisa Wall, helping to shine a spotlight on transgender rights in Aotearoa/New Zealand. https://facebook/events/450514515077809/?previousaction=join&ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular&source=1
