Tonight is the State of the Union. What is the state of our union? Not great! Hundreds of thousands of unwanted horses, hundreds of horses including babies and pregnant mares going to slaughter every week, thousands of unwanted dogs, cats and rabbits overrunning our shelters and foster homes, thousands of children living in group homes or foster care, thousands of children caught up in human trafficking, veterans are committing suicide every 22 minutes (according to CNN), unemployment is high and many have just resigned themselves that they will never find a job! Horses4Heroes is a non-profit, non-partisan, apolitical organization, but once in a while you have to look around you and say, folks, this is not good and what are we the people doing about it? Where is our passion, our protest, our voice? Look around you at the State of our Union and if you are pleased, let your Congressmen and Senators know they are doing a good job for you. If you are not pleased, let them know that we expect better results from those who are paid to represent us! This is not about Republicans or Democrats its about Americans. God Bless America and God Bless our Heroes whose Call of Duty is protect and serve this great nation!
