Tonight it really hit home just how lucky I am to be part of this young mans life. We proudly escorted Sam across the football field in front of the whole town to be recognized as the fine young man he has become. I sure dont feel like just the step-dad and I am proud to call him my son. Congratulations, Sam, your mother and I love you and are extremely proud of you. Every day that goes by we become more convinced that when you leave the nest your wings will take you higher than you thought you could go, and I will always be there for you no matter what the situation. Remember, the only thing that is going to hold you back in life is you. Im very proud of you Sam!
