Tonight my Laney has her first Jr. High choir concert. In the past my mom has always been there because she was elementary principal. Many times Dan could make it there from work, so he would stand in. It was almost always best for me not to enter a large crowd with perfumes and colognes and have a mast cell attack that would put me in the bathroom and bed for the next 24 hours. Best to not expose myself to all kinds of germs, specifically strep, which could set me back months in treatment, and of course not endure the aforementioned while straining my poor fused neck to catch a glimpse of my girl through a crowd of people. It is pouring rain here which exacerbates all my symptoms including my numb head, twitching left eye, poor vision, headache and pressure. Heres the prayer request . . . PLEASE pray I can do this. I just want to survive. My therapist would say to go, slip in for one song and leave. I am headed for surgery again two weeks from today, and I want to do this. Asking for more courage.
