Tonight, the most beautiful thing ever happened. Theres a group of teenagers I see getting on the bus at the mall all the time, and they ALWAYS have the same sob story: We forgot our passes or we used the last of our change, well pay double next time or we lost our transfers, and they get let on anyway and proceed to treat the public transit like their own personal limo service. They were waiting for the last bus leaving the mall tonight. I get on, and the bus driver sees the kids and stands in the doorway. Sure enough, one of the kids steps forward and says We all forgot our passes today. The bus driver says, Sorry, Im not letting you on the bus. The kid is stunned. He looks at his friends, who are standing there with mouths agape. Uh, but, my friend is really cold. Well pay double next time. The driver says Nope, not tonight guys. Sits down, closes the door. The reactions of those kids was HILARIOUS. The dawning realization that they are SCREWED, and their free rides have come to an end. One of the girls actually started crying, and they looked absolutely PANICKED as they tried to figure out what they were gonna do.
