Tonight....(this is the part that was not put on air) when Scott Johnson from Channel 4 in Jax asked Buddy Parrish You dont seem to be too upset about your brother Andys outcome? Buddy responded: My brother had a wonderful Christmas week with family: Rebecca Parrish Carlisle, Phillip Carlisle, Chris Parrish. Over the Holidays, he spoke to or spoke of his precious Aunt Barbara Chism-Sullivan, her girls, (Jodie, Laura & JayJay) his cousins Chris & Nina deBodisco, his Uncle Marvin & Aunt Aida, Aunt Lu, Johnny & Gijzette Strickland. He went four wheeling with Frank Fleming and bowling with Janet Sharik...he for the first time in his life was living a truly independent and successful life. He was excited to return home to get back to his favorite job, he was on top of the world! He had life long friends, no one closer than Tim & Tom, Waco & Zella who were little angels and helped Andy when he needed assistance with a new task. Andy had a network of co workers - Jay Willis for 22 years at Publix and now at the Florida Farm Bureau, Larry Parham, as his supervisors helped Andy be the very best loyal employee anyone could ever ask for. He loved his church, his pastors: Brother Gordon, Pastor Arnold, Pastor Cole and his biggest teacher and confident, his brother, Buddy. He had a very big heart and would do anything for anyone in need. In the end, he looked up to those in his life who he emulated...and they hurt him, but he would do it all again. We were so blessed by his life and his faith. We as Christians have the wonderful comfort that Andy, as the light of his parents eyes, he was re-unitied with him on Friday evening between 6-6:30pm. Yes, we will miss him, think of him when we see chocolate milk, high fives, four wheelers and a person in uniform. We thank God for so many mercies...the wonderful work of so many agencies, a quick resolution, the discovery of evidence, the discovery of his remains....We have closure and we have faith....what else could we ask for?
