Tonight tragedy struck. A beautiful golden dog was hit by a truck in front of the family. The driver stopped and stayed with the animal and reached out to us as she sat there with the family. We rushed to the scene loaded the dog and the owner and met our vet Altitude Veterinary hospital. The dog is in rough shape and all though were comeplety tapped out (I often will donate money from soda central to pet ring to cover expenses) we could really use some donations to aid in the emergency treatment of this and another dog. This is the second dog this week we have helped treat as a result of a car accident and these treatments get very expensive. It is not clear yet if the owners will need our assistance but these bills typically run in the thousands and obviously no one has that just laying around so please if you have a few extra bucks send them our way... Or stop into Altitude Vet ask for Sandy and pay on our account. All donations are tax deductible when filing your w2 with a receipt as we are and have been for 7 years a 501(c)3.
