Tonight was MY liming night...Proud to say I went to both events tonight held in Toronto in support of our culture! Unforgettable and I AM Chutney Soca were both mind blowing.... And I seriously felt like I was in Trinidad! Honorable mention to Geeta who is always the life of the party and made sure we were on our toes all night! Nafeeza and Perry who had a VIP par excellence! The energy in both venues were people just out to have fun and that , we all did. Unforgettable moments.. Nishard getting everyone to sing along, Neval Chatelal bussing rags on reggae his voice melted my heart, and has got to have one of the best and I feel safe to say better than the movies rendition of Abh Mujhe one of my favorite songs, and best ever singer of Saiyan.. Makes me cry everytime. Mamoo Pagal aka Crazy wearing a blue suit and Singing Nani Wine live and sounding like the record still, not forgetting Jun Jeezy- one of the most humble down to earth guys and had the crowd singing along to all his popular songs- another great addition to the cast and sure to hear more amazin music from him! Kenneth Supersad has to be one of the most funniest men alive, and the outstanding Entrance that only a few got to see... All i can say is KI yuh rel flexible and doing the hundreds of shows I have done never have I seen such an extravagant entrance, a Kings entrance! I was lucky to be at the right place at the right time to see it all! Then I jet to I Am Chutney Soca! Omesh and the Wave band always delivers and I guarantee their performance was outstanding in every way, all band members looking absolutely handsome in pink and professional! I admire that! The King Terry G, is a King and after so many years still can tun up a crowd! SW Storm was born for the stage.. He owns it...Always an outstanding performance every time. Hunter has so much energy on stage that he gives it to the audience and I have never seen any crowd sit down for any of his performances in the many years working with him.. He is a star! Not forgetting honorable mention to Bluesss Who got us to take hilarious pics and his Antics had me cracking up! Karma was on stage to a ram packed audience and Nisha Bissambhar looked like the Rani that she is.. And more gorgeous in person! Ravi B didnt look like he was working.. Lol.. He was enjoying every minute of being on stage and you could tell was just absorbing the energy from all the fans and knew he was exactly where he is meant to be in his element. I was only upset that both shows were the same night so in order to support both I had to miss some artistes so Ill unite them on this post. Not forgetting the very talented musicians backing up all that great talent! Big up to the promoters for do such an awesome job keeping the culture alive- people dont understand how much effort is actually put behind and months of planning to make an event a success and they made it Look flawless! tonight was definitely Unforgettable and every artiste tonight displayed the true art of the meaning I Am Chutney Soca. It was great seeing so many familiar faces and industry VIP! Oh. And the weekend has only begun! Hope to see you all at Chutney Explosion later today and Tomorrow where I am honored to be hosting some of the most authentic Chutney artistes and I guarantee you will feel like you are in a time warp where we the music just flows from the heart, and your waste can not move as the music vibrates through your body.. This is not just 2 shows it will be an experience you dont want to miss! Chutney Explosion! See you there!
