Tonight was an intensely emotional night for so many reasons. Some sad and some happy. Growing up, my father played guitar to us every night as we all sat around him with eyes of adoration, admiration, and love. Tonight he handed his guitar of 50 years, Betsy, over to me. What an honor that he is entrusting me to continue this tradition for another 50 years. We played all night together and with each song we played came so many vivid memories and emotions of the past 40 years. Here we are playing our first song together just before he handed her over to me. Emotional moment. I love you dad, more than you will ever know. I will take care of your old friend, I promise.
